Joya is located in a quiet, upmarket area of central Nelson. The Garden Studio, with grass roof has ample in- and outdoor living areas. The Villa Studio comprises a ground floor studio apartment opening up to a secluded terrace overlooking various water features. The Villa Room with its own private balcony offers wide views over the city. The Den, a small, single room with handcrafted bed and large desk is an ideal and good value base for the discerning solo traveller. Phone/internet facilities in each room.

- Garden Studio
- This spacious, two-level, purpose built log
studio with grass roof is a unique find in the
middle of town. Set in the gardens of one
of Nelson's finest heritage villas this studio
has a private deck, overlooking a pond with
a little island that can be reached over a
small drawbridge. Everything is provided for
easy in and outdoor living. The living area
features under floor heating and a small
Danish log burner for those rare cool
evenings. There is a queen size double
bed and a single sofa/futon to
accommodate a third person. The ensuite

- The Den
- Is a good value option for the discerning solo backpacker who is ready for some comfort as well as peace and quiet. The Den has the early morning sun, wooden floors, a handcrafted single bed with futon mattress. There is a wall-wide desk and internet access just in case you'd bring your laptop. Rates include breakfast and all other facilities.

- The villa room has its own balcony and since it is on the top floor, it has some superb views. The room has wooden floors, a handcrafted Kingsize bed with futon mattress, and antique oriental furniture. There is no ensuite. The bathroom is situated opposite your room and is for shared use. The villa room represents good value for money. All further advantages and facilities of Joya would be yours and organic (vegetarian/vegan options) are included in the rates. $ 115.00 - $ 145.00

- Villa Studio
- This studio is situated on the ground floor of one of Nelson's finest heritage villas. It is spacious, colourful and light. It has wooden - rimu - floors, oriental rugs and is tastefully furnished. The kitchenette is made of recycled native timbers and coloured glass panels. The separate lounge area opens to a sunny, sheltered, private terrace, overlooking the fruit and herb gardens and various water features. This studio sleeps 2 to 3 people with one Super King or two/three singles. The ensuite bathrooms consists of a Mediterranean style open shower. Rates $ 125 -$ 175.00.
